LOCKED is a powerful mental routine that can be performed with one or three spectators. The set includes nine poker size numbered cards and a four digit padlock. The effect also incorporates the spectators’ own rings and smartphones.
One or three rings are locked onto the shackle of the padlock by a spectator. The participants then freely decide the color, order, and position of the cards, forming three different three digit numbers from the nine numbered cards. Despite these completely free choices, the total always matches the exact opening combination of the padlock.
